With the faint glow of volunteerism, We gather the stars of public welfare.

“Be a caring enterprise, be a responsible citizen”—this has been the unwavering belief of the Harmony Volunteer Service Team since its inception. In 2022, the company spearheaded the formation of the Harmony Volunteer Service Team, with over 50 employees enthusiastically joining. From dawn-lit sanitation stations to sweltering summer college entrance exam venues, from quiet nursing homes to bustling community squares, they have consistently spread the company's warmth throughout every corner of the city through tangible actions.

At seven o'clock on a deep winter morning in the north, while the city still slumbers, sanitation workers have already begun sweeping the streets. The Harmony Service Team has long been mindful of these “city beauticians,” launching the “Warm Orange Initiative” every spring and autumn. Team members procure practical supplies like thermoses, gloves, towels, and hats in advance, then distribute them to 12 sanitation stations across the city, delivering heartfelt care to the workers. “This thermos is really handy—a sip of hot water warms me up completely,” said sanitation worker Master Wang, rubbing the shiny new cup with a simple smile. Over the past two years, the service team has provided care packages to over 200 sanitation workers, paying tribute to these unsung heroes through thoughtful gestures.

Outside the exam halls during the sweltering summer college entrance exams, the “Harmony Volunteer Service Team's Care Station” always stands out as the most prominent sight. The team sets up sunshades in advance and stocks supplies like bottled water, Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, exam stationery, and resting chairs to support both students and parents. Team members assist in verifying admission tickets, offer cool water to waiting parents, and even drive candidates back to retrieve forgotten documents. During last year's exams, team member Xiaoli noticed a pale-faced candidate, promptly provided heatstroke medicine, and arranged for rest in a shaded area, ensuring the student could enter the exam hall smoothly. For three consecutive years, the Love Exam Assistance Station has served over 100 examinees and parents, becoming a “warm haven” outside the exam halls.

“Honor your own elders as well as those of others.” Nursing homes and empty-nest seniors are the primary focus of the Harmony Volunteer Service Team. Twice a year, team members visit suburban nursing homes bearing supplies like rice, flour, oil, and fruits. Beyond helping seniors clean rooms, trim nails, and chat about daily life, the team launched a special “Time Capture” initiative, inviting professional photographers to take free portrait photos for the elderly. When 82-year-old Grandma Zhang saw the developed photos, she exclaimed with emotion, “I've never had such a vibrant portrait taken in my life. Thank you so much.” Additionally, team members have paired up with 15 empty-nest elderly households in the community, making regular home visits to offer companionship and alleviate loneliness.

The service team never shirks its duty in safeguarding the city's appearance. During the quarterly “Park Refresh” initiative, members carry brooms, trash pickers, garbage bags, and other tools to conduct comprehensive cleanups of the central city park. From cigarette butts and paper scraps on the lawns to plastic litter along the lake, everyone works together to ensure no corner is overlooked. One member joked, “We organize documents at the office and now ‘organize’ trash in the park—both contribute to beauty.” Park cleanup has become a corporate tradition, with over 300 bags of trash collected to date, creating a clean and tidy recreational environment for citizens through tangible action.

From small acts of kindness to sustained initiatives, the Harmony Volunteer Service Team measures responsibility with their footsteps and warms the city with compassion. For the company, public welfare is not a mere slogan for window dressing, but a core value woven into its development DNA. Moving forward, the team will continue focusing on community needs, launching more down-to-earth volunteer activities to sustain warmth, spread goodwill, and contribute corporate strength to the city's development.
